At the upcoming International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce, a new Polish compact drone with high strike capabilities will be unveiled.
The X-FRONTER is a drone that weighs just over one kilogram and easily fits into a backpack. It offers both reconnaissance and strike capabilities in a compact form.
Developed by WB Electronics, this drone has garnered significant interest among defense experts. It was first showcased two years ago, but at MSPO, it will be presented in its final version.
A key feature of the X-FRONTER is its military-grade encrypted communication link, designed to resist jamming and provide reliable tracking over several kilometers.
The drone can carry a small explosive payload, and in the future, it could be equipped with thermobaric, fragmentation, or cumulative warheads.
The drone’s design, reminiscent of a PET bottle, allows for easy portability and flexible equipment options, including flares, infrared markers, or smoke screens.
The X-FRONTER technology enables swarm operations, where a group of drones can work together and share tasks, such as reconnaissance or attacks on the enemy.
The drone can reach speeds of up to 60 km/h, ascend to an altitude of 300 meters, and has a flight time of up to 40 minutes, ensuring high operational flexibility.
